What does it mean when a Blast has been rejected?

A Blast can be rejected in several situations:

  • the webpage for which you submitted the Blast does not host the infringing material anymore.

  • the webpage for which you submitted the Blast makes a use of your content in a way that may be considered Fair use.

  • the webpage for which you submitted the Blast clearly does not make any illegal use of your content. Clearly abusive Blasts may lead to a strike on your account.

NB: if you disagree with the rejection of your Blast, you have the possibility to appeal the decision. A Blasty representative will then review your request and contact Google's legal department if your Blast has been unfairly rejected.
